Blue Leaf Detailing LLC Terms and Conditions of Service
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to services provided by Blue Leaf Detailing LLC (“Blue Leaf,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling an appointment, submitting a booking, purchasing a service or membership, approving an estimate, or otherwise authorizing Blue Leaf to perform services, the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.
Please review these Terms before booking a service.
1. Service Authorization
By booking or authorizing a service, you authorize Blue Leaf and its employees, contractors, or authorized representatives to perform the services selected or subsequently approved by you.
You authorize Blue Leaf personnel to access, unlock, start, operate, and reasonably move your vehicle when necessary to perform the service, position the vehicle, inspect completed work, or safely conduct our operations.
You represent that you are the owner of the vehicle or have authority from the owner to authorize the requested services.
2. Appointments And Arrival Windows
Blue Leaf is a mobile service provider. Appointment times may be provided as estimated arrival times or arrival windows.
We make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled window; however, mobile service can be affected by traffic, weather, previous appointments, equipment issues, property access, vehicle condition, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle and service location are accessible at the scheduled time.
3. Service Location
The Customer is responsible for providing a safe, lawful, and reasonably accessible location for Blue Leaf to perform the requested services.
Certain properties, HOAs, apartment communities, parking structures, commercial facilities, military installations, or municipalities may restrict mobile detailing.
Unless Blue Leaf has separately arranged access with the property, the Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission.
If we cannot safely or legally perform the service at the scheduled location, the appointment may need to be relocated or rescheduled.
4. Pricing And Estimates
Prices displayed online are based on the selected service, vehicle category, and an assumed condition consistent with that service.
Prices identified as “starting at,” estimated, or otherwise condition-dependent are not guaranteed final prices.
Additional time, labor, products, equipment, or specialized treatment may be required for conditions including, but not limited to:
- Excessive pet hair
- Sand
- Heavy staining or spills
- Excessive dirt, mud, or debris
- Excessive trash or personal belongings
- Smoke or severe odors
- Biological contamination
- Mold or mildew
- Rodent contamination
- Vomit, urine, feces, blood, or other bodily fluids
- Tree sap, tar, overspray, mineral deposits, or severe water spotting
- Heavy oxidation
- Excessively contaminated paint
- Oversized or unusually configured vehicles
- Vehicles whose condition is materially different from the information provided when booking
When reasonably practicable, Blue Leaf will notify the Customer of material additional charges before performing additional work.
Blue Leaf reserves the right to decline work that presents a safety concern or requires services or equipment outside the scope of the scheduled service.
5. Vehicle Size And Service Selection
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate vehicle category and service when booking.
Blue Leaf may adjust the vehicle classification or service price if the vehicle does not correspond with the category selected or if its condition requires substantially more work than the booked service provides.
6. Personal Property
Customers should remove valuables, money, documents, medications, firearms, fragile items, electronics, child belongings, and other important personal property before service.
Blue Leaf may move personal belongings when reasonably necessary to perform the service but is not responsible for organizing personal property.
Areas containing excessive personal belongings may not be serviced.
Blue Leaf is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left in the vehicle except to the extent caused by Blue Leaf’s negligence or as otherwise required by law.
7. Child Safety Seats
For safety and liability reasons, Blue Leaf may decline to remove, reinstall, or secure child safety seats.
If a child safety seat must be removed to complete a service, the Customer may be required to reinstall and verify the seat before transporting a child.
The Customer remains responsible for ensuring that any child safety seat is correctly installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Pre Existing Vehicle Condition
Detailing and cleaning can reveal damage or deterioration that was previously concealed by dirt, contamination, oxidation, stains, debris, waxes, dressings, or other substances.
Examples include:
- Scratches and rock chips
- Paint defects
- Clear-coat failure
- Oxidation
- Previous paint or body repairs
- Cracked or loose trim
- Worn, cracked, or dyed leather
- Torn or weakened fabrics
- Loose headliners
- Damaged stitching
- Brittle plastics
- Failing adhesives
- Damaged weather stripping
- Loose emblems or decals
- Damaged wheels
- Electrical or mechanical problems
- Aftermarket modifications
Blue Leaf is not responsible for pre-existing damage or the failure of components that are already damaged, deteriorated, improperly installed, previously repaired, or otherwise compromised, except to the extent Blue Leaf causes additional damage through negligence or misconduct.
9. Vehicle Condition Documentation
Blue Leaf may photograph or video the vehicle before, during, and after service for purposes including documenting vehicle condition, documenting existing damage, quality control, training, warranty administration, insurance matters, and resolving customer concerns.
Such documentation is maintained for legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
With your separate, optional permission, Blue Leaf may use photos or videos of your vehicle on our website, social media, and promotional or advertising materials. Declining promotional use does not affect your ability to purchase services or our ability to document vehicle condition and completed work for operational purposes.
Before publishing promotional images, Blue Leaf will conceal visible license plates and personal identifying details. We will request separate permission before featuring an identifiable person. Promotional permission is not required as a condition of service.
You may withdraw permission for future promotional use by contacting [email protected]. We will stop new promotional use and take reasonable steps to remove affected images from channels we control. We cannot guarantee removal of copies already shared by independent third parties or materials already distributed.
10. Detailing Results
Blue Leaf strives to provide high-quality professional results; however, detailing is a restorative and maintenance service and cannot return every vehicle to new condition.
Blue Leaf does not guarantee complete removal or correction of every:
- Stain
- Scratch
- Swirl
- Odor
- Water spot
- Paint defect
- Pet hair
- Sand particle
- Contaminant
- Etching
- Oxidation
- Interior blemish
- Permanent discoloration
Results depend on factors including the age and condition of the vehicle, materials, previous damage, previous repairs, contamination, and how long a defect has been present.
11. Interior Cleaning And Stain Removal
Steam cleaning, shampooing, extraction, chemical treatment, and other professional cleaning methods may significantly improve interior surfaces but cannot guarantee removal of permanent staining, discoloration, dye transfer, wear, burns, damaged fibers, or odors that have penetrated underlying materials.
Certain stains or conditions may become more visible after surrounding dirt and contamination are removed.
Blue Leaf will use reasonable professional judgment when determining appropriate cleaning methods.
12. Odor Removal
Odor-remediation services are intended to reduce or eliminate odor sources where reasonably possible.
Blue Leaf cannot guarantee permanent odor removal when the source remains inside the vehicle or has penetrated areas that cannot reasonably be accessed without disassembly.
Smoke, mold, mildew, urine, rodents, biological contamination, HVAC contamination, and other severe odor conditions may require multiple treatments or additional services.
13. Biohazard, Mold And Specialty Remediation
Mold, rodent contamination, bodily fluids, biological contamination, and similar conditions may present health and safety risks.
Blue Leaf reserves the right to stop or decline service if the condition is materially more severe than represented or if specialized remediation is required.
Additional labor, protective equipment, disassembly, treatment, drying, equipment rental, disposal, or follow-up services may result in additional charges with Customer authorization where required.
No representation is made that detailing constitutes medical, environmental, or certified hazardous-material remediation unless expressly stated in writing.
14. Exterior Detailing And Paint Condition
Existing paint defects may become more visible after cleaning and decontamination.
Blue Leaf is not responsible for paint failure resulting from pre-existing conditions such as clear-coat failure, oxidation, previous improper repairs, failing touch-up paint, poor-quality refinishing, or structurally compromised paint.
15. Paint Correction And Polishing
Paint correction improves paint appearance by mechanically polishing the clear coat or painted surface.
The amount of correction safely achievable varies according to paint thickness, paint type, previous repairs, defect depth, vehicle history, and overall condition.
Blue Leaf will prioritize preservation of the paint system over attempting to remove defects that cannot safely be corrected.
Some scratches, etching, rock chips, oxidation, or other defects may remain after correction.
Paint correction is an improvement process and is not a guarantee of perfect or defect-free paint.
16. Ceramic Coatings And Protective Products
Ceramic coatings and other protective products provide enhanced surface protection and easier maintenance but do not make a vehicle scratch-proof, chip-proof, water-spot-proof, maintenance-free, or immune to environmental damage.
Actual durability depends on the specific product, vehicle usage, environment, storage, washing methods, maintenance, contamination, and compliance with applicable care requirements.
Manufacturer warranties, when applicable, are governed by the manufacturer’s warranty terms in addition to any separate Blue Leaf workmanship warranty.
Customers are responsible for following the applicable aftercare and maintenance instructions provided by Blue Leaf.
Improper washing, automatic/touch car washes, abrasive cleaning, neglect, environmental contamination, accidents, body repairs, or use of inappropriate chemicals may reduce product performance and may affect warranty coverage.
17. Window Tint, Paint Protection Film And Specialty Installations
Customers receiving window tint, paint protection film (“PPF”), or similar specialty services must follow the aftercare and curing instructions provided by Blue Leaf.
Existing scratches, chips, contamination, damaged glass, aftermarket components, previous films, paint defects, or other pre-existing conditions may affect installation appearance or performance.
Product and manufacturer warranties, when applicable, remain subject to their respective terms and exclusions.
18. Weather And Mobile Service Conditions
Mobile detailing is affected by weather and environmental conditions.
Blue Leaf may delay, relocate, reschedule, or discontinue a service due to rain, wind, excessive heat, unsafe conditions, insufficient lighting, water restrictions, property restrictions, or other circumstances that may compromise employee safety or service quality.
Blue Leaf will make reasonable efforts to communicate weather-related changes.
19. Cancellations, Rescheduling And No Shows
Appointments are subject to Blue Leaf’s current Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is available and accessible at the scheduled appointment.
Late cancellations, no-shows, inaccessible vehicles, or appointments that cannot be performed because of conditions within the Customer’s control may be subject to cancellation, service-call, deposit, or other applicable charges disclosed through the booking process or Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
20. Deposits And Payment
Payment is due according to the terms presented at booking, on the estimate, invoice, membership agreement, or other applicable service agreement.
Certain services may require a deposit or prepayment.
Unless otherwise required by law or stated in the applicable cancellation policy, deposits may be applied toward the scheduled service and may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling conditions.
Customers are responsible for authorized charges for services performed and additional work they approve.
21. Recurring Memberships
Customers enrolling in a recurring Blue Leaf membership or maintenance program are also subject to the applicable Membership & Automatic Renewal Terms presented at enrollment.
Recurring charges, renewal terms, cancellation procedures, and other membership-specific conditions will be disclosed separately when the Customer enrolls.
If there is a conflict between these general Terms and the Membership & Automatic Renewal Terms regarding the membership itself, the membership-specific terms will control.
22. Customer Inspection And Blue Leaf Guarantee
We encourage Customers to inspect their vehicle promptly following completion of service.
If you believe Blue Leaf overlooked an area or there is an issue with our workmanship, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 24 hours after completion of the service.
When appropriate, photographs or videos may be requested to help document the concern.
Blue Leaf must be provided a reasonable opportunity to inspect the concern and, where appropriate, correct workmanship-related issues.
Our goal is to resolve legitimate service concerns fairly and promptly.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
23. Warranties
Any Blue Leaf workmanship warranty applies only to the specific service or product for which the warranty was provided and remains subject to the applicable written warranty and maintenance requirements.
Manufacturer warranties are administered according to the manufacturer’s terms.
Normal wear and tear, accidents, improper maintenance, automatic/touch car washes where prohibited by applicable care instructions, environmental damage, neglect, abuse, unauthorized repairs, or third-party work may affect warranty coverage.
Specific warranty and maintenance requirements may be provided separately in Blue Leaf’s Warranty & Care Policy or product-specific documentation.
24. Damage And Claims
If a Customer believes Blue Leaf caused damage to a vehicle or property, the Customer should notify Blue Leaf promptly after discovering the issue and provide reasonable documentation.
Blue Leaf must be provided a reasonable opportunity to inspect the alleged damage before repairs are performed by another provider, except when immediate repair is reasonably necessary to prevent further damage or address a safety issue.
Blue Leaf may review pre-service photographs, service records, technician documentation, surveillance footage where available, and other relevant information when investigating a claim.
Blue Leaf is responsible for damage caused by its negligence or misconduct to the extent required by applicable law. Blue Leaf is not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, latent defects, or failures unrelated to the services performed.
25. Customer Provided Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when scheduling service, including vehicle type, condition, location, known hazards, special materials, aftermarket modifications, and relevant existing damage.
Failure to disclose conditions that materially affect the work may result in additional charges, service modification, rescheduling, or refusal of service.
26. Communications
By providing contact information and booking a service, Customers authorize Blue Leaf and its service providers to send communications reasonably related to the transaction, including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, arrival notifications, service updates, invoices, receipts, and customer-service communications.
Consent to receive promotional or marketing communications may be requested separately where required.
Customers may opt out of marketing text messages according to the instructions contained in those messages without affecting their ability to purchase services.
27. Privacy
Blue Leaf’s collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference where applicable.
Customers should review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information through our website or booking system.
28. Third Party Services
Blue Leaf may use third-party service providers for functions including online booking, scheduling, payment processing, communications, website hosting, analytics, and other business operations.
Use of third-party platforms may also be subject to the provider’s applicable terms and privacy practices.
29. Right To Refuse Or Discontinue Service
Blue Leaf reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or reschedule service when reasonably necessary because of unsafe conditions, abusive or threatening conduct, undisclosed hazards, illegal activity, inaccessible vehicles, unsuitable service locations, equipment limitations, or conditions materially outside the scope of the scheduled service.
Customers remain responsible for services already performed and authorized charges incurred before discontinuation, subject to applicable law.
30. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Leaf will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from services provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from conduct for which limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
31. Force Majeure
Blue Leaf will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform services caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, governmental restrictions, utility interruptions, equipment failures despite reasonable maintenance, emergencies, or similar events.
When reasonably possible, affected appointments will be rescheduled.
32. Changes To These Terms
Blue Leaf may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The version applicable to a transaction will generally be the version in effect when the applicable service or recurring arrangement is entered into, except where subsequent changes are permitted or required by law.
The current version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
33. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
34. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
35. Electronic Acceptance
Electronic acceptance of these Terms, including checking an acceptance box, submitting an online booking after being presented with these Terms, electronically signing an agreement, or otherwise affirmatively agreeing to them, may constitute the Customer’s electronic agreement to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Customers should retain a copy of the Terms applicable to their transaction.
